I am available to travel to your residence but for most portraits I recommend a nearby park or an interesting building. Not only does this provide a recognisable backdrop for your portraits if appropriate, but it allows multiple styles to be achieved in the same shoot. Set/plain background photography is still popular and makes sense in some cases but I always recommend an outdoor location such as a plain wall for this as it provides slightly more interesting photographs.
